The purpose of a glycol chiller is to keep beer at the right temperature in draft beer systems for customers and be easy to maintain. This unit works by circulating a propylene glycol, through insulated lines from the keg to a beer tower. It keeps your beer cold and thus maintains its quality. These can also be used for other products such as draft wine, kombucha, cider and seltzer. A glycol chiller is pivotal to a remote beer system, while maintaining the right carbonation levels.
There are many different types of glycol power pack units available on the market today, each with their own pros and cons. Some chillers having multiple pumps vs one pump.
